"The experience of the training programme last summer was both fruitful and unforgettable. Visiting different sectors, taking part in talks and workshops have not only helped us to gain different perspectives on Hong Kong, but also have enhanced our ability to promote Hong Kong as Asia’s “hottest”, “must-visit” destination worldwide in a more diverse and integrated way. What I enjoyed most was the 3-day-2-night camp, which helped us understand the importance of teamwork, trust and support for other team members in the tasks, as well as deepening the friendship and solidarity of a team. Throughout the scheme, I have gained a strengthened sense of how to create a friendly Hong Kong and deeper relationship with Hong Kong, our home."

"After living in Hong Kong for almost twenty years, I still did not feel any sense of belonging here. It was not until I joined the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme that I learned more about this wonderful place. Most importantly, I became aware of my identity and responsibility as a Hong Kong citizen. I bet every youngster who joins this scheme will have more or less the same feeling as me. My experience of stationing service at the Hong Kong International Airport and various hot tourist attractions was exceptionally good. It allowed me to greet and mingle with tourists of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds in a friendly way, and introduce them to different perspectives of my homeland, thereby widening my own horizons and enhancing the image of Hong Kong as an ideal destination or as a place to live in. Being a Hong Kong Young Ambassador has undoubtedly been a chance of a lifetime."

"Joining the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme has truly made a difference to my life. I have been given various golden opportunities to promote Hong Kong and show our hospitality to both residents and visitors through large-scale promotional activities like the “Dragon 100” and the “2008 Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade”, in which we shouldered the responsibility for strengthening the image of Hong Kong as an event capital. What really made the experience so memorable was the satisfaction of being able to make direct contact with tourists from different cultural backgrounds. In addition, these events demonstrated our diversified culture and enhanced my understanding of the uniqueness of Hong Kong with its variety of eastern and western cultures and traditions. If you too want such a precious experience, join the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme like me. It is your best and wisest choice!"

"The Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme has truly increased my sense of belonging and widened my horizons as an overseas student. This was a life time experience, leaving me with many valuable and precious memories. When doing promotions, a friendly smile from tourists was the best encouragement. Promoting a hospitable Hong Kong has gradually become habitual, a little help does not cost you much, but it could mean a lot to a tourist."
