The 3-week intensive training programme comprised a training camp, talks and workshops, heritage tour and visits to organizations.
Training
Camp
This 3-day-2-night training camp (13-15 July 2008) comprised team-building exercises, problem-solving activities, workshops by professional trainers on Chinese handicrafts and creative thinking, as well as sharing and discussion with experienced Ambassadors.
Visits
In order to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of Hong Kong, visits to organizations from the following sectors will be arranged:

Talks
and Workshops
Talks and Workshops were arranged to familiarize the Young Ambassadors with different aspects of Hong Kong, including its history, tourism projects and future development plans. Participants' presentation and communication skills were also polished through activities in the workshops.
Heritage
Tour and Eco Tour
Tours to Eco Park, historical and heritage sites were arranged to facilitate Young Ambassadors' understanding on eco-tourism, Chinese culture and history of Hong Kong.
Group
Project Competition
To ensure participants have a thorough understanding of Hong Kong and to help them prepare for introducing Hong Kong to tourists, participants are required to submit a group project after the training programme.
Participants have to work in groups, on one of the selected topics to design and develop creative ideas to promote Hong Kong with collective effort. Based on creativity, comprehensiveness and feasibility, three awards will be given to outstanding groups.

Hong
Kong Log Book Competition
In order to consolidate their learning throughout the training, participants are required to record all visits, talks, workshops, heritage tours attended into a log book individually.
This competition is not merely routine recording exercise, but a critical analysis of experience. According to the thoroughness of information and coverage of photos on the events, depth of insights, creativity and feasibility, three awards will be given to participants who could give a good overview of the things that have been learned and highlight the insights derived.
