Appointment and Awards Ceremony

After the successful completion of a 3-week intensive training programme, 217 participants have been appointed as Hong Kong Young Ambassadors. The Appointment and Awards Ceremony was held on 12 August 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is our honour to have Ms. Au King-chi, JP, Commissioner for Tourism and Mr. Walter Chan Kar-lok, SBS, JP, Honorary Secretary of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups to officiate at the ceremony.

These Young Ambassadors will spread the message of hospitality and promote Hong Kong culture to their friends through services in local Hong Kong communities and in other parts of the world during the coming year.
